Alexander Calvert

Growing up in Abbotsford, British Columbia, a life in Hollywood seemed far off, but after booking guest star roles on USA Networks THE DEAD ZONE and PSYCH, Alexander Calvert knew acting was his calling. Since then, Alexander has quietly amassed a body of work that encompasses both television and film.

In 2016, he was the object of Hailee Steinfeld’s affection in the feature film EDGE OF SEVENTEEN produced by Gracie Films for STX. Kelly Fremon Craig wrote and directed this coming of age dramady set in the tone of the 1980s John Hughes classics. Alexander plays “Nick,” the resident bad boy and the catalyst to Steinfeld’s character.

In 2015, Alexander would recur on the hit WBTV / CW series, ARROW, playing DC Comic anti- hero “Anarky”. Soon following he would land the role of “Tom Martin” in the second season of MTV’s SCREAM, the series adaptation of the hit teen movie franchise created by Kevin Williamson. Weinstein Company produce’s this adapted series, where Calvert played a seemly nice guy, who we discover has stolen an identity, and is revealed to be the killer in the season finale.

Alexander Calvert has been cast in the series regular role of “Jack” in the 13th season of the highly successful WBTV/CW series, SUPERNATURAL. Alexander plays the son of Lucifer, who is struggling to come to terms with his untapped, paranormal abilities. Though he’s put in the care of the Winchester family, “Jack” wrestles with his dark heritage, as he tries to find his place in the world.

Other notable film credits include the independent feature and Leo Award winner IF I HAD WINGS, the Warner Premiere feature LOST BOYS: THE TRIBE, Horror film LOST AFTER DARK directed by Ian Kessner, Fox Home Entertainments FLICKA: COUNTRY PRIDE, and playing the young Jamie Kennedy in the comedy, KICKIN IT OLD SCHOOL, directed by Harvey Glazer for the Yari Film Group.

His television credits include guest spots on popular television series such as NBC’s MOTIVE, HUMAN TARGET for the Fox Network, and recurring roles on two Carlton Cuse executive produced series, BATES MOTEL starring opposite Vera Farmiga, Freddie Highmore, and THE RETURNED based on the French series by the same name, both for A&E Network. Further television credits include VIRTUAL LIES for the Lifetime Network, German Mini-series, UNSER TRAUM VON KANADA, and the UNTITLED PARANORMAL PILOT executive produced by Kevin Williamson for the CW Network.

When he is not filming, Alexander enjoys going to music concerts, reading, motorcycles and travel. Calvert currently resides in Vancouver, Canada.
